No One Is Safe – Not Really!
That may seem like a very dismal headline, especially for the first post on a new blog. But unfortunately, it’s true. We are all interconnected, and even if you never put your own information online, many companies and organizations, including the government, are doing it for you at a staggering rate.
And once your information is out there, there is no getting it back. Your name, address and phone can quickly become public, even if you are unlisted. Government records become public, including marriage and divorce records, bankruptcy and other court proceedings, and even realestate transactions.
All of this adds up to a very real danger. If you can’t keep your information private, you have to find other ways to protect yourself.
This blog’s purpose is to provide you with useful information on how you can minimize public information, how you can keep your information more secure, how you can find out what is known about you publicly, and much more than can be covered in this brief introduction.
Come back often and help keep yourself and your information safe.
